Oil Filter Manufacturing Process: Component Production & Assembly Process

  • Threaded cover plate: Steel plate stamping → Chamfer→ Tapping → Rust-proofing oil immersion → Spot welding

    Clean the threaded cover plate with ultrasound.

    Rust-proofing oil immersion

    Place the processed threaded cover plate on the stamping machine for projection welding.

    Apply glue for fixation between the threaded cover plate and the sealing plate.

  • Processing of filter paper: Cutting, marking, pleating, and rolling → Filter paper shaping → Filter element cutting

Assembly of the oil filter
Use a gluing machine to apply continuous and even glue on the end cap.

Step 1: Evenly apply glue on the upper and lower end caps of the filter element, with no gaps or overflow.

Use a clip machine to install clips on a section of the filter paper.

Step 2: Install clips on the filter paper, with the ends of the clips not exceeding ±0.5 mm.

Step 3: Fix the filter paper between the upper and lower end caps.

Step 4: Conduct temperature control and chain speed control to control the shaping degree.

The shell with the filter element is placed upside down on the production line.

Step 5: Assemble the filter element, threaded cover plate, and shell.

Inspectthe oil filter with precision instruments.

Step 7: Test the air tightness of the oil filter.

Apply powder coating on the exterior of the oil filter with machinery.

Step 8: Apply powder coating the surface of the oil filter.

The completed oil filter shell is labeled.

Step 9: Label the oil filter.

Install the rubber sealing ring at the bottom of the black oil filter.
