01 / FROM MATERIAL TO VEHICLE

One cabin filter. Six connected stages.

The right line begins with the finished filter you want to make—not with a disconnected machine list.

Six-stage cabin air filter production process
01

Raw materials

Nonwoven media, white nonwoven hard-edge strips and hot-melt adhesive

02

Knife pleating

Stable pleat height, pitch, counting and forming

03

Edge bonding

Two-side support or a complete four-side frame

04

Finished filters

White particle media or activated-carbon composite media

05

03 / NEW FACTORY OR LINE UPGRADE

Start from where your project is today.

01

Build a practical starter line

Clarify the product, output and floor space first. PLM can match materials, machines, tooling, utilities and operator training in one coordinated plan.

  • Define target filters and sizes
  • Choose two-side or four-side structure
  • Reserve space for future upgrades
02

Remove the current production bottleneck

Share your existing equipment, cycle time, labor, defects and target capacity. PLM can review where automation or process matching may create practical value.

  • Map the current process and bottleneck
  • Keep suitable existing equipment
  • Plan phased automation and line connection
04 / BEYOND MACHINES

What PLM helps you connect

01

Process configuration

A step-by-step route matched to your finished cabin filter.

02

Machine selection

Equipment options aligned with size, output, labor and automation goals.

03

Material matching

Filter media, white hard-edge strips, adhesive and consumables reviewed together.

04

Tooling & samples

Product drawings, samples and changeover requirements checked before the final scope.

05

Layout guidance

Machine placement, material flow, utilities and future expansion considered.

06

Installation & training

Practical commissioning, operator guidance, spare parts and technical support.

CABIN FILTER MANUFACTURING SOLUTIONS

Cabin air filter production equipment for new factories and line upgrades.

PLM helps international manufacturers connect cabin filter pleating, two-side or four-side edge bonding, material matching, tooling, installation and operator training. The line can be planned around white nonwoven cabin filters, activated-carbon cabin filters, target sizes, daily output and available factory space.

Cabin filter pleating and folding

Use the PL-AUTO55-700M automatic knife folding machine to control pleat height, pitch and counting for cabin filter media.

Two-side and four-side edge bonding

Choose PLM-TB-2, PLM-TB-4 or PLM-TB-4S according to filter structure, SKU mix, labor plan and automation target.

Complete cabin filter factory setup

Match machines with nonwoven media, activated-carbon cloth, white hard-edge strips, hot-melt adhesive, tooling, layout and technical support.

FREE INITIAL PROJECT REVIEW

Tell us what you want to make—or what you want to improve.

You do not need to know the machine model. Share your filter, capacity and project stage. A PLM specialist can help clarify the next step.

  1. Review your filter and production goal
  2. Clarify missing technical information
  3. Recommend a practical process direction

05 / COMMON QUESTIONS

Before you choose

Can PLM help if I am new to cabin-filter manufacturing?

Yes. Start with your target filter, dimensions, expected output, budget and factory space. PLM can explain the required process and suitable equipment direction.

What is the difference between two-side and four-side bonding?

Two-side bonding supports two opposite sides of the pleated pack. Four-side bonding creates a complete perimeter and requires corner, positioning and trimming control.

Can one line make both white and activated-carbon cabin filters?

Possibly, but media thickness, stiffness, powder release and bonding behavior must be checked with samples and trials before the configuration is confirmed.

Can I upgrade in phases?

Yes. A phased plan can retain suitable existing machines while reserving floor space, utilities and interfaces for later automation or capacity expansion.

What should I send for an accurate recommendation?

Send finished-filter photos or samples, dimensions, media and edge-strip type, target output, available workers, factory layout and current production problems.
